Comfort India Trust

True story - some years ago I received a message on facebook from a man who was doing his medical residency at Baylor University wanting to know how in the world I knew Raju. The man's family was from India and he had spent several days with Raju and his family while looking for a ministry to support. What are the odds, huh? So yes - this is a real person, doing real work out in the real world. In fact, Raju and his wife Asha are two of my favorite humans on the planet.

I started my activism in earnest back in 2015 when I asked my readers to donate to a fundraiser I called "Saris for Grannies" at the request of BS Raju, the founder of Comfort Trust India. We clothed the grannies on the other side of the planet and in the following years supported work that impacted some of the most vulnerable, poor people on planet earth. I am extremely proud to know Raju and his wife Asha. I encourage you to check out some stories on his website. If you'd like information on how to make a donation to support his work, please feel free to send me an email with "Raju" in the subject line.
